OUR FAMILY
During these two months of ministry, we, as family, rejoiced to be reunited. Damaris, our daughter, who is at college in Cluj, came home for the holidays. She was with us at the church meetings and caroling activities. Also, during this period, our family was not spared from suffering. Cornelia, my wife, had her right leg in plaster because of two toes on which she had cracked bones. Meanwhile, Tiby, our boy, took over some of Cornelia's responsibilities. In all of this, we enjoyed God's intervention. And I showed the goodness of God to those who needed the gospel and Christian love. THE MISSIONARY ACTIVITIES OF OUR FAMILY We are very happy when we can invest in the lives of young people and children. In December, we saw how God convinces and works in the lives of young people. On 4th December , I watched the movie Noah with the young people. After after we watched the movie, we had a few discussions about human wickedness and God's intervention in Noah's life. On19 December , I had an event where I preached the gospel and then gave them a bag of food and sweets. During the discussions, a teenager said, "I'm thinking of repenting." After that, 3 others said the same. Pray with us that these 14-year-old teenagers will carry the thought to the end and have a baptism this year.Pray for us to know how to continue investing in them. God has delivered me from the thought that the area in which I serve the Lord is the hardest. At the beginning of the year, I had the opportunity to go in Dobrogea ,to pray and visit some missionaries there. Although I was in Romania, I realized that I was actually in a totally different culture from what I knew Romania meant. Turkish was spoken more, and their organization seemed disorganized to me. All this made me accept that yes, where I serve, it is difficult because people do not react and are indifferent, but there are other areas where people come to meet, but only with other thoughts than to return to The Lord Jesus. A few years ago, a sister from Germany came to Romania as a missionary. For almost two years she was involved in Corabia with Cornelia in children ministry. During this time, her heart clung to some very needy children. With her help, during this time we were able to buy food and clothing for these children.
