CHURCH PLANTING
CHURCH PLANTING STAGES. JUDICIAL AND MISSIONAL.
Hope Church spreads the gospel by impacting local towns and villages and then growing outwards into regions. Presently, we are expanding into different districts throughout the Oltenia region. We are currently seeing great fruit from the evangelism being done in Olt County through Răspândind Evanghelia în Sudul judetului Olt (R.E.S.O.) Ministries, which translates to Spreading the Gospel in Southern Oltenia. We have started a similar base in Dolj County that operates under Răspândind Evanghelia în Dolj (R.E.D.) ministries, which translates to Spreading the Gospel in Dolj County. We estimate that our work in both areas will target approximately 1.2 million people.
STAGE 1 - MISSION POINT
The mother church will empower a missionary to go plant a church. The empowerment will be for at least one year, during which the church planter and his team will carry out consistent missionary activities.
STAGE 2 - DAUGHTER CHURCH
At this stage, the Daughter Church will be established with at least three members and have authorization from the Baptist Union to operate legally. This branch church will have an administrative committee coordinated by the missionary sent by the mother church. There will be weekly meetings for worship and discipleship of new converts
STAGE 3 - INDEPENDENT CHURCH
At this stage, the autonomous church will be established with a minimum of 20 members and the possibility of association with a network of churches.
The church will elect a local leadership team that will provide doctrinal, moral and missionary direction.
