One of our desires and projects is to strengthen and expand micro-businesses for our missionaries and the lay workers and poor families in their surrounding areas. Unemployment in Draganesti-Olt is very high; therefore, we aim to provide training and resources for our community members to build their own micro-business. These businesses include: beekeeping, greenhouse projects, and cow and goat farms. This allows people to receive the education to sustain their work and generate a small income. 

How can I get involved?
  • Pray for the families in our communities who lack employment and are living in poverty, and that our micro-business initiatives would be successful and that we would continue to see families walk in freedom from poverty.
  • Consider bringing a short term mission trip of your own. We love to utilize those teams by building greenhouses or working in the fields.
  • Financially support the project and its missionaries. Your funds enable us to empower people to invest themselves to circumvent poverty. As a donor, you are key in helping these families become self-sufficient. Your donations are used to purchase tools and materials to build greenhouses, build and manage honeybee hives, and acquire and support livestock.
